Cross-Country 2012

Mr Mahony and I have arranged for an external coach to run a  4 week strength and conditioning program for our elite sportsmen as preparation for the Winter AGSV season (football, soccer, cross country, hockey, rugby). He is highly recommended. The aim of the program is to improve:

Core stability

Strength / Power

Balance

Endurance

The sessions will commence on Monday 5 March, and will continue every Monday and Wednesday afternoon until the end of Term 1.

The sessions will go from 3.30pm and finish at 4.45pm every Monday and Wednesday afternoon. They will occur on the Junior School oval. Please get changed in the gym and bring a towel and drink bottle.

The expectation is that you will attend at least one per week – hopefully two per week.

All 1st coaches will be in attendance marking roles.
