Final Presentations

In this section, we will focus specifically on the ‘final presentation’ phase. Most folio work in VCE Visual Communication & Design will involve the creation of at least one final presentation. There are limitless possibilities when it comes to creating Visual Communications, and hopefully, these tutorials will broaden your horizons and help you to create more unique & refined final presentations in future projects.

The client will be Hansel & Petal. Your task will be to re-create the logo and apply it to a variety of visual communications using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Use the support material to assist you.

Thursday 13th September – TASK DESCRIPTION

Your first task is to apply the ‘Hansel&Petal’ logo to a photograph of a building using the ‘perspective grid technique’. You may wish to refer back to the previous task to assist you. Further instructions are attached to the document.

Apply the logo on the following templates (much like what we did with the business card).

TUTORIAL ONE – Creating The Logo

Using Adobe Illustrator, students will be asked to follow a simple tutorial to create a vector based logo. This will then be presented on a number of different visual communications.

TUTORIAL TWO | PART ONE –  Applying the logo to visual communications

With the logo complete, there are lots of ways to place it on visual devices. Download the templates and place the logo in any way you like. Add additional information and text if necessary.
